The enemy has fallen into a trap in Bakhmut.
This was reported by Lieutenant General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to him, the temporarily occupied city is being taken under the fire control of the Defence Forces. At the same time, the defenders' air reconnaissance detected a russian position with an anti-tank guided missile, and soldiers of the 77th Independent Airmobile Brigade destroyed the russians.
The Lieutenant General emphasises that the work of the defenders of Ukraine in the Bakhmut direction continues – the occupiers are being dislodged from their positions.
Background. Mind previously reported that the Defence Forces had liberated over 10 sq km in the south of Ukraine over the week. Demining operations are ongoing in those territories.
