Cabinet permits light industry companies to include profit in contracts with the Ministry of Defence – Hetmantsev
The government made changes to the procurement procedures, which essentially forced companies to operate with the Ministry of Defence on a non-profit basis

The Cabinet has resolved an issue in procurement procedures, which required light industry enterprises to operate with the Ministry of Defence without making a profit.
This was reported by Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy of the Verkhovna Rada.
"Do you remember when manufacturers were tried to be held accountable for 5% profit, reflected in the emphasised Ministry of Defence budget?" Hetmantsev recalled and added that any absurd claims against the light industry had been removed.
The MP also emphasised that this issue can now be considered an unfortunate misunderstanding.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the Cabinet had cancelled permission for individuals to make withdrawals from seized accounts when the recovery amount is up to 100,000 UAH.
