Moldovan Railways will offer a 25% discount on transit shipments for Ukrainian agricultural produce
The new tariff conditions will come into effect from 15 July
Moldovan Railways has agreed to a 25% discount on the transportation of Ukrainian agricultural produce through the territory of the Republic of Moldova in the direction of the ports of Reni, Giurgiulești, and Galați.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE).
The new tariff conditions will take effect from 15 July 2023.
Under the new terms, the application of the coefficient for discounts on basic tariffs is conditional on the fulfilment of transportation volumes by all freight forwarding organisations.
For the recalculation of the tariff, one of two conditions must be met:
- the achievement of a set volume of freight transportation per month;
- the average monthly volume of transported goods over the last three months is equal to or greater than the set volume of freight transportation per month.
