Ildar Saleyev clarifies that DTEK's heat generation losses reached 1.4 GW at the end of the autumn-winter period

Due to attacks by occupiers, losses throughout the entire power system amounted to about 5 GW of manoeuvrable generation. Meanwhile, by the end of the autumn-winter period, DTEK's thermal generation losses were roughly 1.4 GW.
This was reported by DTEK CEO Ildar Saleyev in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
He notes that "even if we manage to restore and launch everything we have planned by the autumn-winter period, it will still be less than what the power system had entered in the last period."
The CEO adds that the company planned to carry out 27 scheduled repairs at a cost of almost 3.5 billion UAH, and an additional 7 billion UAH is needed to restore what has been destroyed.
Background. Mind previously reported that DTEK was counting on government loans to restore destroyed capacities.
