AFU gain advantage in battles for Staromayorske in Donbas

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have gained an advantage in the battles for Staromayorske in Donbas.
This was reported by Major Valeriy Shershen, the spokesperson for the Joint Press Centre of the Defence Forces of Ukraine in the Taurica direction.
"In the area of heightened attention, there is heavy fighting for the settlement of Staromayorske south of Makarivka along the course of the Mokri Yaly river – here the advantage is on our side," the Major pointed out.
At the same time, the offensive operation also continues in the Melitopol and Berdiansk sectors. According to the spokesperson, the Defence Forces are securing their positions at the achieved lines, conducting aerial reconnaissance, demining the terrain, and carrying out counter-battery warfare measures.
Background. Mind previously reported that the Defence Forces were having success in their advance in two southern directions. The defenders are advancing along the Mala Tokmachka–Novopokrovka and Velyka Novosilka–Urozhayne directions.
