Defence Forces liberated about 16 km² over the past week – Maliar
In total, since the begging of the offensive, the defenders have freed over 227 km²

Since the beginning of the offensive, the defenders have liberated 227 km² of territories, of which about 16 km² were freed over the past week.
This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Defence, Hanna Maliar.
She specified that over 12 km² had been liberated in the southern direction, and about 4 km² in the Bakhmut direction. The total area liberated in the southern direction is 192 km², and in the Bakhmut sector – 35 km².
She emphasised that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued to advance on several fronts towards Melitopol and Berdiansk. Meanwhile, key battles are ongoing in the areas of Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and Kurdiumivka.
