It is noted that the bridge crosses the Prut River, with a length of 120 metres

Ukraine has opened a 120-meter temporary bridge to the border with Romania. It is noted that it crosses the Prut River on road T-26-07 Kitsman – Storozhynets – Hlyboka – Oprysheny in Chernivtsi Oblast.
This was reported by the Ministry of Infrastructure.
It is specified that bridge structures, handed over to the management of state roads in Norway, were used to build the crossing. Passage is allowed for light vehicles and trucks with a total weight of up to 35 tonnes.
The ministry emphasises that the arrangement of the bridge will significantly improve the logistical connection with EU countries, and also ensure direct communication between the populated points of Hlynytsia and Dubivtsi of Mamayivska community.
In addition, it is reported that the temporary crossing will unload the highways M-19 Domanove – Kovel – Chernivtsi – Terebleche and N-10 Stryi – Ivano-Frankivsk – Chernivtsi – Mamalyga.
Background. Earlier Mind reported that the Ministry of Infrastructure had found significant damage to the Paton and Metro bridges in Kyiv.
