The president emphasised that the air defence reinforcements "will be directed where they are most needed now." It should be noted that earlier, the head of state instructed to strengthen the protection of port infrastructure.
In addition, during the daily intelligence briefing, reports were given on enemy activity and occupiers' immediate plans, while the Security Service of Ukraine reported on the latest actions taken against the enemy within the state. At the same time, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, informed about offensive and defensive actions across the entire line of contact.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that Rheinmetall would provide Ukraine with two state-of-the-art Skynex air defence systems by the end of the year. The systems will be installed on new Rheinmetall HX 8x8 military trucks.
