The wealth of the richest russians has increased by more than $32 billion since the beginning of 2023. The founder of Lukoil, Vagit Alekperov, earned the most among russian citizens. Despite the fact that he is under sanctions, his wealth has increased by $5.9 billion to $21.3 billion since January.

Alekperov is followed on the list of the richest russians in terms of income by Vladimir Lisin, chairman of the board of directors and major shareholder of the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, who has gained $4.98 billion since January. In total, he earned $24.8 billion.
The richest russian is Vladimir Potanin, president of Norilsk Nickel, whose wealth has grown to $29.8 billion. Since the beginning of 2023, Potanin has increased his capital by $1.23 billion.
The total value of cash assets of russians this year amounted to $309.3 billion, based on the value of dividends, insider transactions, taxes, and market conditions.
According to the list, a member of the Federation Council from the Republic of Dagestan and businessman Suleiman Kerimov has suffered losses since the beginning of the year: his wealth has decreased by $525 million.
Roman Abramovich (who lost $308 million, total capital $7.51 billion) and Vyacheslav Kantor (who lost $243 million, total capital $6.12 billion) have also become "poorer" since the beginning of the year.
The Bloomberg Billionaires Index includes data on the 500 richest people in the world. Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, continues to hold the top spot.
Bernard Arnault, the owner of LVMH (Moet Hennessy – Louis Vuitton), is in second place. Jeff Bezos, the founder of the online retail giant Amazon, is in third place.
