The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled the invader's attacks in the areas of Maryinka and Avdiivka.
This was reported by Pavlo Kovalchuk, spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He specified that the russians had led unsuccessful offensives in the northern and central parts of Maryinka. On the other hand, in the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions north and southeast of Avdiivka.
The representative of the staff added that the invaders were suffering significant losses in the East and had no success. At the same time, the Defence Forces are consolidating at the achieved positions in the Bakhmut direction. Heavy fighting continues.
Background. Mind previously reported that the defenders destroyed 4 tanks, 15 AFVs, and 19 enemy artillery systems over the past day. The aggressor's army was further reduced by 640 invaders.
