The enemy has increased sabotage and reconnaissance activities on the border with Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts.
This was reported by Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, during the national TV marathon, LB.ua reports.
It is noted that the occupiers are trying to enter Ukrainian territory from the russian side, primarily to scout the positions of the Defence Forces in the respective regions. However, attacks on civilians are possible.
On the other hand, enemy activity on the border with Belarus is not detected – russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups are absent there.
Background. Mind previously reported that border guards had stopped an attempt by the enemy's sabotage and reconnaissance group to cross the border. The occupiers were trying to enter the Semenivka community in Chernihiv Oblast.
