Former Ukroboronprom rose 24 positions in the ranking of global defence companies
The company's revenue in 2022 amounted to 1.28 billion

The state concern Ukroboronprom (now JSC Ukrainian Defence Industry) has risen to 65th place in the ranking of the world's defence companies by revenue, according to Defense News.
Previously, the Ukrainian Defence Industry held 89th place in this ranking. In the 18 months since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the company has moved up 24 positions.
The statistical data indicates that the company's revenue in 2022 was 1.28 billion, compared to 754.75 million dollars in 2021, showing a 70% increase.
Just over half of the hundred companies on the list are American. Thirty-one companies are located in Europe.
Background. Recall that at the end of June, the state concern Ukroboronprom was reorganised into a joint-stock company Ukrainian Defence Industry as part of corporatisation.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the director of the Malyshev Plant in Kharkiv, Herman Smetanin, as the new head of the state concern Ukroboronprom.
