Ukrainian forces advance towards Urozhayne – General Staff
Defenders continue to hold back the russian advance on the Kupyansk and Lyman fronts

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are advancing towards Urozhayne (Donetsk Oblast) on the southern front.
This was announced by the spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andriy Kovaliov.
"We have made progress towards Urozhayne and are consolidating our positions," he stated.
Andriy Kovaliov also mentioned that the Ukrainian Defence Forces were continuing their advance, particularly on the Melitopol and Berdyansk axes. Concurrently, Ukrainian forces continue to fend off the russian advance on the Kupyansk and Lyman fronts.
There are ongoing intense battles, highlighted the spokesman. Overall, there were 15 military clashes during the day.
Background. It was previously reported that the defenders had eliminated 540 occupiers over the day. Enemy equipment decreased by 7 tanks, 29 artillery systems, 29 UAVs, and 16 armoured fighting vehicles.
