A relevant bill is being developed

The GTS (Gas Transmission System) Operator has initiated changes to the Criminal Code of Ukraine concerning unauthorized withdrawals of natural gas carried out by gas distribution system operators and industrial consumers.
This was reported by the GTS Operator.
It is noted that meeting participants supported the initiative of the UGTS to increase the responsibility for unauthorized withdrawals due to the negative impact on the Society's operations, potential consequences for safety, and the reliability of gas supply in the country.
“Security force representatives have provided their constructive suggestions, considering the practical experience of applying the provisions of the CCU (Criminal Code of Ukraine). UGTS will take them into account in the revised version of the bill,” reports UGTS.
