Turkey to build a second corvette for the needs of the Ukrainian Navy

Turkey will construct a second ADA-class corvette to meet the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Naval branch. The keel of the ship was laid at a shipbuilding facility in Istanbul.
This information was provided by the press service of the Ukrainian Navy.
"In Turkey, with the participation of the Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Navy, Vice Admiral Andriy Tarasov, and as part of the delegation of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence led by the Deputy Defence Minister of Ukraine, Volodymyr Havrylov, the ceremony for the keel-laying of the second corvette class ship for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Naval branch took place," the statement reads.
This is the second corvette being built by Turkey for the Ukrainian Navy.
It is noted that all works are being executed timely, in line with schedules and signed contracts.
Background. It was previously reported that the corvette Hetman Ivan Mazepa will join the Ukrainian Navy's fleet in 2024.
