The first wave of Ukrainian pilots is training on F-16 fighters in Denmark – Yuriy Ihnat
They will be followed by the second and third groups of servicemen

In Denmark, 70 Ukrainian pilots and aviators (technicians and engineers) are undergoing training on F-16 fighter jets. This is the first wave of training, which will be followed by the second and third.
Source. This was stated by the spokesman of the Air Force of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat on the air of the Ukrainian national TV marathon.
"The other group of pilots are young pilots, in fact, yesterday's graduates, who will go to the UK, where they will take a slightly longer programme. But they will receive basic training – English, light-engine Western equipment with a transition to fighter aircraft. This programme will last longer, perhaps up to 2 years, but this is the prospect that awaits us," Ihnat said.
Over the past two days, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has visited three European countries – Sweden, the Netherlands, and Denmark. During these visits, he made a number of important announcements for Ukraine, including the provision of at least 60 modern Western F-16 fighter jets.
As Danish Prime Minister Matt Frederiksen has previously clarified, the first group of modern F-16 fighters will arrive in Ukraine by the end of the year.
