Ukraine requests JASSM missiles from the USA – Forbes
They are noted to be compatible with F-16 fighters

Ukraine has formally requested JASSM cruise missiles from the USA. It is highlighted that while the F-16 fighters aren't compatible with Storm Shadow or SCALP missiles, they are with the JASSM, as reported by Forbes.
The publication underscores that by integrating the F-16 jets with the JASSM, Ukrainian aviation might potentially double its deep-strike capability and "liberate the Crimean Peninsula from nine years of russian occupation".
Analyst Brynn Tannehill suggests that this pairing of aircraft and missiles could be "critical to long-term plan to re-take Crimea," potentially leading to considerably fewer personnel casualties.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that if the EU failed to take more decisive action, the USA would train Ukrainian pilots on the F-16 fighters.
