Germany gives Ukraine another military aid package: what it includes
The package includes drones, trucks, ammunition and drone detection equipment

Germany has handed over another military aid package to Ukraine. In particular, the new aid package includes:
- 10 drone detection systems;
- 40 RQ-35 HEIDRUN reconnaissance drones;
- 16 Zetros trucks;
- 510,000 rounds of ammunition for firearms.
In addition, Berlin intends to transfer to Ukraine in the near future:
- 90 drone detection systems;
- 42 Zetros trucks;
- 31 million rounds of ammunition for firearms.
According to the German government's website, the funding for the security capacity building initiative is €5.4 billion for 2023 (€2 billion for 2022), with additional commitments in the following years amounting to €10.5 billion.
These funds will mainly be used for military assistance to Ukraine.
Background. Earlier, the German Foreign Ministry stated that Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian targets do not violate international law.
