Recently, Russia has been regularly attacking the Ukrainian ports of Reni and Izmail on the Danube, which are located near the border of Ukraine and Romania. Tilvar said that "enhanced vigilance measures" will be taken in this regard.
This will include the establishment of new observation points, as well as the introduction of "technical solutions" to protect Romanian territory. At the same time, Tilvar emphasized that attacks on Ukrainian ports do not pose a threat to Romania.
Earlier, Ukraine reported the arrival of a kamikaze drone in Romania, but the Romanian Defense Ministry said that the Russian drones did not pose a direct military threat to the country.
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that it was "pointless" to deny that the attack drone had crashed on Romanian territory, as there was photographic evidence.
At the same time, the Romanian president said that no drones had fallen on the territory of his country.
