Ukraine's Foreign Ministry denies "fake news" about Ukraine's alleged agreement with Germany and France to "overthrow" the Polish government
Ukrainian side had no intention to interfere in Poland's internal affairs, Nikolenko emphasized

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleh Nikolenko denied comments made by a Polish TV channel TVR in Brussels about the alleged promise of Germany and France to ensure Ukraine's rapid accession to the EU in exchange for the "overthrow" of the current Polish government.
"The Polish media began to circulate comments by a correspondent of the Polish TV channel TVR in Brussels about the alleged promise of Germany and France to ensure Ukraine's rapid accession to the EU in exchange for the "overthrow" of the current Polish government," Nikolenko wrote on Facebook.
According to him, this information is not true.
"We categorically reject such insinuations. The Ukrainian side has not received any such proposals, and has no intention of interfering in Poland's internal affairs," the spokesman emphasized.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Ukraine highly appreciates Poland's support in repelling Russian aggression, supporting our aspirations for EU and NATO membership, and is deeply grateful to the Poles who show solidarity with Ukrainians.
The ministry noted that the latest manifestation of this was the presentation of state awards by the President of Ukraine to Polish citizens: journalist Bianca Zalewska and volunteer medic Damian Duda.
"We are convinced that the efforts to drive a wedge into the high level of respect and cooperation between our peoples will fail. We call on our Polish friends not to succumb to provocations and to work together to effectively counter common challenges," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman emphasized.
Background. As a reminder, on Saturday, Zelenskyy presented awards to Polish volunteers for helping Ukrainians.
