The German government wants to simplify the requirements for Ukrainian refugees to speak German
This will help speed up the integration of Ukrainians into the German labor market

Since February 2022, more than 1 million Ukrainian citizens have arrived in Germany. According to the government, 196,600 of them are currently employed on a full or part-time basis, but 205,970 are registered as unemployed.
This employment rate of 19% is "far from sufficient," Labor Minister Hubertus Heil (Social Democratic Party of Germany) said at a press conference.
He noted that there is a shortage of workers with many qualifications on the German labor market.
Tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugees have graduated or will soon graduate from integration courses organized by the German government, and they will be the target of the new measures. They will have to look for work, otherwise they risk losing their social assistance.
Background. As a reminder, "Stars of David" have appeared on some Jewish homes in Germany, and the Minister of the Interior has promised to expel all Hamas supporters from the country.
