Russia continues to buy parts for the production of "Kalibr" missiles in circumvention of sanctions

Kolomna-based Konstruktornoye Bureau Mashinostroeniya Corporation (JSC NPK KBM), which produces Iskander and Kinzhal missiles, continues to receive components from Europe and other countries through intermediary firms.

Source. This was reported by The Insider.

Thus, according to the publication, American chips from Texas Instruments, Analog Devices and Altera, which are used in the "Daggers", are imported into Russia through the Chinese company ETC Electronics Limited.

The goods necessary for the production of the Daggers are imported from Europe.

The heat and cold chambers are imported from Poland through the Moscow-based company OSTEK-Test LLC.

Machine tools, tools, cables, coils and tapes for protective packaging of electronic components are brought from Germany through intermediaries.

Another Russian company that has government contracts with the manufacturer of the Daggers is Sonatek LLC. It offers "modern measuring and metalworking equipment from the world's leading manufacturers," purchasing it in Lithuania, Latvia, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, the publication found out.

Inkotech offers its customers components from such American manufacturers as Analog Devices, Marvell Technology, Texas Instruments, Xilinx, Holt Integrated Circuits.

The company cannot buy from them directly due to sanctions: Inkotech's co-owner Pavel Grishanovich has been blacklisted by the US Department of Commerce since 2012. Therefore, purchases are made through intermediary companies, such as IQ Components.

Russia produces 15-20 Kalibr missiles every month. Missiles of this type, in particular, were used in the attack on Vinnytsia, which killed 27 people, and in the attack on the building of the Kharkiv regional administration, which killed 29 people.
