Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba commented on the calls by some Western politicians to start negotiations with Russia.
"Those who argue that Ukraine should negotiate with Russia now are either ignorant, misguided, or they are taking Russia's side and want Putin to pause before even more aggression," the foreign minister wrote on Twitter (X).
"We should not and will not fall into this trap," Kuleba added.
According to him, after Russia annexed Crimea in 2014 and started the war in Donbas, 200 rounds of negotiations with Russia were held.
According to the US media, some American and European officials have begun to raise the possibility of holding peace talks with Russia.
