Ukrainian Armed Forces strike at Russian military gathering near Donetsk in response to similar attack in Zaporizhzhia

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have recently successfully struck a group of Russian occupiers from the 810th Marine Brigade, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Stratcom reports.
"According to the Russian side, at the time of the strike, the occupiers gathered to celebrate the so-called Day of the Russian Artilleryman. The Ukrainian Defense Forces promptly identified the location of the Russians' festivities and warmly congratulated them!" the telegram channel said.
According to UNIAN, about 25 soldiers were killed in the incident, and about a hundred more were injured. Among the dead was singer Polina Menshikh, who was performing at the concert. Her death was confirmed by the St. Petersburg theater where she worked.
"It is with great pain that we inform you that Polina Menshikh died yesterday at a performance in Donbas as a result of shelling," the Portal Theater-Studio posted on VK.
A video of the attack was posted by the Novorossiya Militia Telegram channel. The footage shows the artist singing in front of the audience, including, apparently, the military. Then the performance is interrupted by loud noise and the screen goes off. The official telegram channel of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" stated that the 27th Rocket Artillery Brigade under the command of Colonel Dmitry Khrapach was responsible for the attack.
"DPR" officials reported that two residential buildings and four "civilian infrastructure" buildings were damaged.
Russia's Investigative Committee said on Monday that it plans to launch an investigation into the death of Polina Menshikh.
Unofficially, the Ukrainian army called the shelling a "retaliatory strike" for the Russian missile attack on the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during an award ceremony on November 3. Nineteen Ukrainian soldiers were killed.
The Russian media did not report anything about the deaths of the soldiers, telling only about the dead actress.
