Ukrainian tax authorities fine PornHub for non-payment of "Google tax"
The amount of the fine is $5,543

The State Tax Service of Ukraine has fined Aylo, the company that operates the PornHub platform, for tax evasion.
The amount of the fine is $5,543.
This was announced by Danylo Hetmantsev, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy.
Aylo was fined because it refused to register for taxation. The tax service sent the relevant decision notice to the company and the Canada Revenue Agency.
"Unfortunately, not all taxpayers operating adult services are equally responsible for taxation," Hetmantsev commented.
The MP also noted that the OnlyFans platform has paid $944,100 in taxes to the state budget since the beginning of 2023.
"Let me remind you that every penny of the so-called Google tax goes to finance the needs of our army, and Ukraine is ranked 14th among other countries by PornHub's rating of electronic services viewed by consumers of this site," Hetmantsev said.
Background. As reported, the State Tax Service has launched a chatbot that can be used to complain about incorrect actions of tax inspectors.
