Germany hands over three more Gepard anti-aircraft systems to Ukraine
They also received 20,000 rounds of ammunition

The German government on Friday updated its list of military aid to Ukraine to include what has been transferred in recent days and weeks, including three Gepard anti-aircraft systems, two demining vehicles, tractors and various ammunition, the BBC reports.
The three Gepard systems were delivered with 20,000 rounds of ammunition. The total number of Gepards donated to Ukraine has now reached 52 units.
In addition, the latest version of the list includes:
- an unspecified number of ammunition for Leopard tanks,
- two tractors for heavy equipment and five semi-trailers for them,
- two armored demining vehicles,
- several cars,
- 10 reconnaissance drones,
- 2,500 155 mm caliber shells
- 25,500 grenades for 40-mm automatic grenade launchers.
The German government notes that the total value of German military assistance to Ukraine in 2023 reached 5.4 billion euros.
Background. Earlier it became known that Germany is purchasing ammunition for Ukraine worth 258 million euros.
