Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who is on a visit to Kyiv, called the war in Ukraine a struggle between good and evil, emphasizing that he is not ashamed to use such language.

Tusk emphasized that Russian military aggression is not only a Ukrainian problem, so the politician supported the creation of joint Polish-Ukrainian arms production enterprises.

"The coming months and years will be a military and logistical challenge for the entire free world. We cannot allow Russia to demonstrate a clear advantage in terms of weapons and ammunition. Because then we all lose. That's why I also very much welcomed the president's (Zelenskyy) statement that we will build joint ventures. We will invest in companies in Poland and Ukraine that will work to improve our defense capabilities. Ukraine, Poland, and the whole of Europe," Donald Tusk said.

He emphasized that this would be a very profitable business venture for both sides.

Speaking at a briefing in Kyiv, the Prime Minister of Poland also addressed those EU leaders who, according to him, have not fully understood what the struggle is for and what the stakes are in this war.

"Today, anyone in the free world who pretends to be neutral, maintains an equal distance or demonstrates it towards Ukraine and Russia deserves the darkest place in political hell," Ukrainian media quoted Tusk as saying.

Background. Earlier in the day, it was reported that Poland announced a new defense aid package for Ukraine.
