The Bundeswehr is preparing a new package of weapons for Ukraine. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced the next planned batch of military aid to Kyiv.
The new package will include:
IRIS-T SLM medium-range anti-missile systems and Gepard anti-aircraft systems;
Artillery systems and more than 230 thousand shells;
More than 80 Leopard 1 A5 tanks;
Infantry fighting vehicles;
450 armored vehicles;
Engineering vehicles and bridge builders, as well as demining systems;
Drones;
Radar and reconnaissance systems.
In addition, in 2024, Germany plans to organize training for 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers.
