Ministry of Justice: Russians from VS Energy's regional power distribution companies may be confiscated no earlier than summer
The lawsuit on confiscation of assets of Russians Voevodin, Giner and Babakov was filed with the High Anti-Corruption Court

The final decision in the VS Energy asset confiscation case is expected in about six months, not earlier than summer.
This was reported by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
The process of examining the evidence has now begun.
Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Justice starts confiscation of VS Energy assets
A lawsuit for the imposition of sanctions and confiscation of assets of Voevodin, Giner and Babakov has been filed with the High Anti-Corruption Court.
On 13 May 2023, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions on VS Energy, through which Russians own 5 regional power distribution companies in Ukraine.
At the end of 2022, after the arrest of the Russians' stake in 5 Ukrainian regional power distribution companies, the Security Service raided the office of VS Energy.
Through a network of offshore companies and front companies, the regional power distribution companies were controlled by Russians Alexander Babakov, Yevgeny Giner and Mikhail Voevodin.
On 16 November, the Pechersk court arrested shares in 5 regional power distribution companies owned by Russians Alexander Babakov, Yevgeny Giner and Mikhail Voevodin through nominees.
These are shares in:
◾️ "Khersonoblenergo"
◾️ Kirovogradoblenergo
◾️ Zhytomyroblenergo
◾️ "Rivneoblenergo"
◾️ Chernivtsioblenergo.
As it later became known, the Russian co-owners of the oblenergos in Ukraine, Giner and Babakov, were put on the wanted list. They are charged with encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.
