Polish police are investigating reports of spilled soybeans from a train that entered from Ukraine and was parked on the railway line in Dorohusk.

Source. This was reported by RMF24.

"5 tonnes of Ukrainian soybeans spilled out of the wagon onto the siding in Dorohusk, Lubelskie Voivodeship. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident," RMF FM said in a statement on its website on Saturday.

According to the resource in the Main Directorate of the Municipal Police in Chełm, the Ukrainian train of about 80 cars entered Poland two days ago and is waiting for customs clearance. In the morning, the police received a report of spilled grain. The police checked the area, interviewed witnesses and are passing the case to the prosecutor's office.

The Helm police believe that the incident is "difficult to link to the farmers' protest".

As reported, on Saturday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov called on Polish law enforcement agencies to immediately respond to the incident with Ukrainian agricultural products at the railway station at the Dorohusk border crossing.

"The systematic destruction of Ukrainian agricultural products looks like planned sabotage. Our country defends itself and survives thanks to farmers. Therefore, those who committed these crimes are definitely not interested in Ukrainian peace and the victory of the civilised world. We call on the Polish law enforcement agencies to respond immediately," Kubrakov said.

Background. The day before, it became known that unknown persons had damaged Ukrainian rapeseed at the Polish border by throwing it out of the wagons. The cargo was in transit to Hamburg, Germany.
