Zelensky: Two more countries sign Global Peace Summit communiqué
Barbados and the Marshall Islands joined the list of signatories

Barbados and the Marshall Islands have signed a joint communiqué of the Ukrainian Peace Summit, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on 22 June.
"We see the growth of global support for the Ukrainian Formula for Peace, that is, support for the UN Charter, which we want to restore to full force," Zelensky wrote on social media.
"We value our partners from the island states and call on everyone to join us in developing a vision of a just peace for Ukraine and all nations around the world."
On 15-16 June, the World Peace Summit, initiated by Ukraine, took place in Switzerland, with more than 90 countries and organisations participating.
78 states and four organisations signed the final joint communiqué of the peace summit on 16 June.
Several countries were not on the list of signatories, including India, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Colombia, South Africa, Thailand, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates.
On 17 June, Rwanda's signature disappeared from the document.
According to Zelenskyy, six more signatures were added to the joint communiqué after the summit.
"We continue to work to ensure that their number continues to grow," he added.
Earlier on 19 June, Zelenskyy said that Antigua, Barbuda and the Organisation of American States had joined the communiqué following the peace summit. Zambia also signed the document the next day.
Kyiv plans to organise a second global peace summit by the end of 2024.
Background. Ukraine's Ambassador to Singapore, Kateryna Zelenko, said in an interview published on 20 June that Kyiv would also consider participating in a Beijing-led peace conference with Russia if the talks were based on the principles of the UN Charter and international law.
