The occupiers fired at residential buildings and damaged the hospital
An unexpected attack by the invaders caught Zhytomyr on the night of the first of March. Enemy troops carried out shelling of residential buildings, and also damaged the hospital.
“Just a residential building on Saburov Street, near our 2nd hospital named after. Pavusenko, was hit by an aerial bomb, ”said the mayor of the city.
Russian troops dropped several bombs on Zhytomyr, which led to a fire of colossal proportions. The hospital was also damaged.
During the shelling by enemy bombs, residential buildings and the private sector were destroyed and damaged. A rescue team is working to clear the rubble and put out the fire.
According to preliminary data, two civilians were killed, three more were injured. After the rubble is cleared, the final number of victims will be announced.
