What happened. Yuriy Vitrenko, chairman of the board of Naftogaz Ukrainy, said that the actions of the Russian occupiers at gas infrastructure facilities endangered gas transportation in Ukraine and its transit to Europe.

Details. According to the official, the actions of the occupiers in certain areas where compressor stations are located, endanger the transportation of gas within the country and its transit to Europe. He noted that Ukraine had appealed to European partners to take action to stop such behavior of the occupiers.
Vitrenko said that more than 273,000 households are currently cut off from gas supply, which puts their lives on the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe. He added that Naftogaz's current work is aimed at uninterrupted gas supply and ensuring the operation of critical infrastructure where possible.
