2389 children from ORDLO taken to Russia by invaders, says MFA
Compulsory displacing of civilians to the territory of the aggressor state shows signs of abduction
What happened. Occupational forces have illegally removed 2389 children, residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, to Russia.

What it means. Ministry of Internal Affairs claims that temporary displacement of civilians to the territory of the aggressor state carries signs of abduction. Such actions are a gross violation of international law, particularly international humanitarian law.
Details. "We call upon the international community to take actions immediately on the illegal export of children. We also request to ramp up the pressure on Russia to force them to stop this barbaric war against the Ukrainian nation," The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine says.
Law enforcement agencies meticulously document the facts of the children's abduction and hundreds of other facts of crimes committed by Russian invaders against civilians in Ukraine. Those responsible for these crimes will be held accountable.
