World Association of Nuclear Operators is to transfer all Ukrainian NPPs to Paris Center
Before that, Ukrainian nuclear power plants were a part of the WANO Moscow center

What happened. It became known that the Governing Board of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO), which maintains nuclear power plants, has supported the application of SE NNEGC Energoatom. They have decided on the company's transfer with all stations and nuclear power units altogether to the WANO Paris Center.

Details. The following plants are subject to transfer:
Zaporizhzhia NPP (6 blocks VVER-1000)
Rivne NPP (2 blocks VVER-440, 2 blocks VVER-1000)
South Ukraine NPP (3 blocks VVER-1000)
Khmelnytskyi NPP (2 blocks VVER-1000).
Previously, Ukrainian nuclear power plants belonged within the Moscow WANO center since the date of incorporation of the organization in 1989.
