What happened? The Maxar company published satellite images of the colony in Olenivka on the occupied territory of Donetsk region.

Details. The images of July 27 and July 30 can only be distinguished by one small damaged building.

“New sat images of Olenivka prison in russia-occupied Donetsk Obast of Ukraine where at least 50 Ukrainian POWs were killed in an attack that Kyiv says – and preliminary evidence suggests – russian forces carried out.” 

Previously. On July 29, russia struck the pre-trial detention centre in Olenivka, where Azov prisoners-of-war were held. russian mass media claim that at least 53 prisoners of war died.

The SSU published intercepted conversations of militants of the so-called DPR, where they admitted that on July 27, Ukrainian prisoners of war had been moved from three barracks to an industrial area.

“At around 11:00 p.m. on the evening of July 28, the Grad MLRS began to work, and after every 10 shells fired, large explosions were heard. In total, there were three such explosions – but they were not caused by the Grad systems, but pre-planted explosives went off,” explains one of the militants in the conversation.
