Details. The first ships sent to Africa carried 50,000 tonnes of grain. One ship is now heading towards Ethiopia, the other is being prepared for loading in Somalia.
It is noted that the freight is carried out at the expense of Japan and Germany.
“We hope that by the end of the year there will be more shipments, the second ship has already been chartered for December. It all depends on how much global support this initiative will gain, since, obviously, in the conditions of war we cannot pay for all this on our own, only partially. We hope that there will be several dozen ships, a significant assistance that will be felt by the countries of Africa,” says Mr. Solsky.
