What happened? DTEK Energo forecasts record losses of thermal generation in the amount of 20 billion UAH by the end of 2022.

Details. The head stressed that losses had already reached 17.6 billion UAH for 10 months of this year. At the same time, at present, Ukraine needs dozens of transformers worth about $5 million to restore the power system. At the same time, the production time of the equipment is not less than 6 months.
In addition, Mr. Saleyev explained that it is currently impossible for the Ukrainian Air Defence Forces to protect all energy facilities, as one station can occupy an area of 100 hectares, so several air defence systems will be needed at once to protect it.
