Details. “In fact, the figure may increase... We have not yet assessed everything and have not managed to get to all the damages,” he said.
According to him, now power engineers need special equipment, transformer oil, wires, insulators, and supports.
“We had a battle zone here. The power grids near Mykolaiv, as well as near Snihurivka and other previously occupied settlements were almost completely destroyed. Even after we do everything and supply electricity to these settlements, we will have to restore these networks almost from scratch,” said the head of the company. According to the company, in recent weeks, power engineers have already provided electricity to 12 de-occupied settlements.
According to Mr. Danylkiv, today the most “critical situation is with repair equipment. As a result of a missile strike on the central motor depot in Mykolaiv, 12 pieces of equipment were completely destroyed, about 60 pieces were damaged.” In addition, as it is said in the interview, Mykolaiv power engineers lack wires, insulators, supports – the things that were massively destroyed. There is also a shortage of transformer oil.
