Details. “Exception – the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP that continues to stay in the mode of unit shutdown,” the statement reads.
According to NPC, the volume of electricity consumption on Sunday increased compared to yesterday, which influenced the indicators of the deficit in the system. This is due to both the damage to energy infrastructure facilities during the 9th missile attack and the seasonal drop in temperature.
“All oblast power distribution companies have been informed about consumption limits. If they are exceeded, emergency shutdowns may be applied,” Ukrenergo reminded.
It is noted that emergency repair works in high-voltage and distribution networks as well as at power plants are ongoing throughout Ukraine. At the same time, weather conditions (increased frosts, strong winds) complicate repair works.
