Oblast power distribution companies violated electricity outage schedules almost 200 times – State Inspectorate for Energy Supervision
Most often schedules are violated in Volyn, Kyiv, Poltava, Ternopil, Chernihiv oblasts, and in Kyiv

What happened? The Ministry of Energy together with the State Inspectorate for Energy Supervision, National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities, and law enforcement agencies conducted unscheduled inspections of distribution system operators (DSOs) in each oblast. Following the first stage of inspections, 193 violations of the requirements of regulatory legal acts in the electricity sector were recorded.

Details. Most violations were recorded regarding the duration of breaks between schedules of disconnection of consumers from electricity and the use of stabilisation schedules not provided for by applicable legislation;
- absence in the schedules of planned outages of facilities that are not included in the list of critical infrastructure;
- non-compliance with the duration of the outages;
- absence of a list of critical infrastructure companies agreed with local authorities.
It is reported that the most violations were recorded in Volyn, Kyiv, Poltava, Ternopil, Chernihiv oblasts, and in Kyiv. The smallest number of violations was recorded in Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, and Kirovohrad oblasts.
Relevant acts were drawn up against the distribution system operators, they must eliminate the violations by December 31. In case of non-compliance, other measures will be taken in accordance with the law, but it is not specified what kind of sanctions will be applied.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stresses that such inspections of oblast power distribution companies should take place on a regular basis for the period of wartime.
