Ukrainian Air Defence Forces shot down 45 Shahed drones on New Year's night – General Staff
32 of them – in the first minutes of 2023
What happened? Ukrainian Air Defence Forces destroyed 45 Iranian attack drones launched by the occupying country.

Details. "On the night of December 31, 2022 to January 1, 2023, the russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones. As a result of combat work, the air defence of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defence of other components of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, destroyed 45 attack UAVs," the statement said.
It is specified that 13 were shot down on December 31, and 32 – on New Year's night.
