Ukraine imports small volumes of electricity from January 1 – Ministry of Energy

What happened? Ukraine has been importing small amounts of electricity since January 1 this year.
Source. Herman Halushchenko, Minister of Energy of Ukraine, quoted by the Interfax-Ukraine.
Details. "At present, imports are small, but they have been coming since January 1. Moreover, we have made it possible for enterprises to purchase electricity, and this will accordingly influence supplies and their possible limitations in supplies," he told reporters.
Mr. Halushchenko specified that both the state-owned Energy Company of Ukraine and private structures, such as ERU and DTEK, are engaged in the organisation of imports.
