Details. "More than 10 GW of the main installed capacities are currently inaccessible to the Ukrainian power system and are under the control of the enemy. These are Zaporizhzhia NPP, the largest in Ukraine and Europe, Zaporizhzhia TPP, Luhansk TPP, Vuhlehirsk TPP, Kakhovka HPP. In addition, the majority of wind and solar power plants are also located in the temporarily occupied territories of the south," the statement says.
The company notes that there is a significant power shortage in the country's power system, especially during the evening peak consumption. Currently, generation covers only 25% of the country's consumption.
Due to the damage to power equipment and infrastructure caused by missile and drone attacks by the occupying country, consumption restrictions are in force and emergency power cuts are being applied in 8 oblasts.
Ukrenergo reminds that Ukraine has already suffered 12 missile and 14 drone massive attacks.
