Financing of the state budget since the beginning of the year consists of almost 70% of loans from IFIs – Ministry of Finance
Sources of financing include military bonds, loans from international financial organisations, as well as bilateral loans and grants

What happened? As of January 18, the total amount of financing for the state budget in 2023 amounted to 173,516 million UAH. Of this amount, 118,674 million UAH are loans from international financial organisations, which is 68.4% of the total amount.

Details. In addition, Ukraine received grants in the amount of 24,704 million UAH. Another 30,136 million UAH was raised through the sale of domestic government bonds, including military bonds.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, international partners have provided Ukraine with $36,064 million, or almost 1.5 trillion UAH. More than a third of this sum was provided by the United States.
