Ministry of Finance: during the martial law period, banks have issued preferential loans worth over 78 billion UAH
In total, entrepreneurs received almost 168 billion UAH in loans under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% programme

What happened? Last week, 271 preferential loans totaling 730 million UAH were issued under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% government programme, and state-owned banks concluded 186 loan agreements worth 330 million UAH.

Details. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 18,805 loan agreements totaling 78.09 billion UAH have been concluded under the state programme. Of these: 830 million UAH – for investment purposes; 6.5 billion UAH – as anti-crisis loans; 4.37 billion UAH – as refinancing of previously obtained loans; 25.81 billion UAH – loans for agricultural producers, and another 40.58 billion UAH – for anti-war purposes.
Since the launch of the programme (February 2020), banks have issued 53,600 loans to businesses worth 167.73 billion UAH, of which 34,514 have been provided by state-owned banks for a total amount of 67.48 billion UAH.
