What happened? The Ukrainian government expects a breakthrough towards European integration after the next Ukraine-EU summit.

Details. It is noted that the summit is to be held this week in Kyiv with the participation of President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and President of the European Council Charles Michel. In addition intergovernmental consultations will be held with the European Commissioners.
Mr. Shmyhal expects the summit to result in progress on "industrial visa-free regime", accession to the single euro payment area and the EU mobile roaming area.
