Parliament extends martial law until May 20

What happened? The Verkhovna Rada approved the President's bill to extend martial law for 90 days – until May 20.

Details. In parallel with the martial law, MPs extended the terms of general mobilisation for the same period. The bill was supported by 344 MPs.
Previously. President Zelensky proposed to extend martial law and mobilisation until May 20. The relevant bills were registered in parliament on February 6.
