Over 140,000 occupiers were eliminated in Ukraine in less than a year
Losses of military equipment and aircraft amount to approximately twenty thousand
Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 690 occupiers, bringing the total number of combat losses of the terrorist country since the beginning of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022 to more than 140,000.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to February 16, 2023 are approximately as follows: about 140,460 (+690) personnel were eliminated, tanks – 3,296 (+6), armoured fighting vehicles – 6,517 (+10), artillery systems – 2,306 (+3)," the report says.
The "second army of the world," as russia calls itself, has lost 466 MLRSs in Ukraine in less than a year, 239 air defence systems (+3), 298 aircraft, 287 helicopters (+1), and 2,012 operational and tactical UAVs (+1).
It is specified that the following also became scrap metal: cruise missiles – 857 (shot down by the Ukrainian air defence system), ships – 18, motor vehicles and tankers – 5,167 (+6), special equipment – 219.
