The Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated more than 39,000 square kilometres since the beginning of the full-scale war.
This is reported by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Parliament notes that the area of the de-occupied territories is comparable to the area of Switzerland, which is about 41 square kilometres.
At the same time, during the year of war, environmental damage as a result of the invasion of the ruscists amounted to $441 billion, even according to the minimum estimates. The amount that the parliament plans to demand in reparations from russia is 1.898 trillion UAH.
In addition, since February 24 last year, approximately 123,000 residential buildings in Ukraine have been damaged or destroyed, and 16,670 sirens have sounded. During this time, the allies have provided the Armed Forces with more than 4,000 pieces of armoured vehicles, artillery, aircraft, and other weapon systems.
